The future of 'Mirage Noir' visual novel

Greetings my beautiful members,

I'm writing this journal to hint you about the future of this project since this is one of the biggest milestones of my life.
As you probably noticed there isn't much going on right now and only people who follow my game development twitter know that I'm writing something twitter.com/Mirage_Noir
But if it comes to the graphic side of the project not much is going on. This is because I'm occupied by my real life full time job and two other half time jobs I'm doing at the moment (yeah, I have three jobs right now ) - so as you can imagine it gives a little room to do something else in my free time.

That's why decided to quit my full time job and one of my half time jobs in order to fully devote myself to "Mirage Noir" project.

From 15th July I'm going to start working on my game as my normal job. This includes at least 40h of work each week (just like a full time job).
I'll probably be doing daily livestream sessions to show you the progress (I'm thinking something like 2h a day, because I don't want to show you all things, that would ruin my game, haha).


Also, on 1st of August I'm starting another contest related to my game.
This time the prize pool is even bigger:

FIRST PRIZE:
200 $ or equivalent in DA POINTS

SECOND PRIZE:
100$ or equivalent in DA POINTS

THIRD PRIZE:
50$ or equivalent in DA POINTS

SPECIAL PRIZE:
5 x ONE YEAR DA PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP


Also I want to release the game demo before the 1st of June.
... and one more thing about livestreaming sessions - I'll start doing it on irregular basis after the renovation of our flat is done (somewhere near Aprill).

I know that ditching a stable job especially in the time of worldwide cricis is really crazy, but... I decided that this is what I want to do with my life.
I want to make games - that's what really makes me fullfilled.

..and even crazier thing is that I won't sell that game - It will be free to download for everyone who desires to play it.
In the times of big companies milking gamers from every penny they can I preffer different bussiness model - Supporting the artist through donations.
But, I'll write about it some other time
